About PadHerDignity
Pad Her Dignity is a nonprofit campaign on a mission to end period poverty in underserved African communities. We provide monthly sanitary pads, menstrual health education, and emotional support to girls and women who can’t afford them.
Period poverty refers to the lack of access to sanitary products, menstrual hygiene education, clean water, and waste management. It affects millions of girls and women, leading to school absenteeism, infections, and stigma.
We provide free sanitary pads and menstrual hygiene kits, host menstrual health education sessions, raise awareness, and advocate for menstrual equity in underserved communities.
We collaborate with schools, local leaders, and NGOs to identify girls in need, especially in rural or low-income areas.
Kits typically include sanitary pads, underwear, soap, a menstrual cycle tracker, and educational materials.
₦3,000 supports one girl for one month, and ₦36,000 sponsors her for a full year with supplies and education.
